Róbert Ótott greeted grade one pupils
New 2024/25 school year started regularly today in 45 local self-governments in the territory of AP Vojvodina. On the occasion, the Vice-President of the Provincial Government and Provincial Secretary for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities - National Communities Róbert Ótott visited two primary schools today, to wish teachers and pupils a happy start of the school year. This morning, before the first school hour, Mr Ótott firstly greeted the grade one pupils at the “Cseh Károly” primary school in Ada.
“Today, we are starting another school year. You, the little ones, grade one pupils, who are crossing the school’s threshold for the first time, must be very excited. I wish you to keep openness and curiosity from your childhood, to freely ask your teachers questions and to take advantage of every opportunity to acquire as much knowledge as possible. School, certainly, is not only a place to study, here you will make new friends and build a new community, and I wish you much success in that." - said Róbert Ótott during the reception for the first graders.
This year, the “Cseh Károly” primary school enrolled a total of 57 first graders, fifteen children were enrolled in grade one in the Serbian language, while forty-two were enrolled in the class taught in Hungarian. Following the visit to Ada, the Vice-President of the Provincial Government, the Provincial Secretary, wished a happy start of the school year to the pupils of the "Lajos Thurzó ”primary school in Senta. In this school year, it enrolled a total of 64 grade one pupils, who will attend classes in the Hungarian language.
On the first day of the new school year, representatives of the line secretariat visited several schools in the territory of the AP Vojvodina. Deputy Provincial Secretary Slađana Bursać visited the Mechanical Engineering secondary school and "Laza Kostić" grammar school in Novi Sad, as well as two primary schools "Dušan Jerković" and "Veljko Dugošević” in Ruma. Undersecretary Zsuzsanna Mackó greeted the pupils of "Imre Kókai” primary school in Temerin and "18. oktobar” primary school in Novo Orahovo, while Assistant Provincial Secretary for education Tatjana Veljković was at "Pinki" secondary school of traffic and transport management in Novi Sad, "Miroslav Antić" primary school in Futog, "Petar Petrović Njegoš" primary school and "4. juli" vocational secondary school in Vrbas, and "Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” primary school in Zmajevo. Milinka Chrťanová, Assistant Provincial Secretary for the realisation of the rights of national minorities - national communities, visited "Jozef Marchok Dragutin” primary school in Gložan, as well as "Jána Čajaka" primary school and "Ján Kollár” grammar school in Bački Petrovac.
