Bar Examination
The official records of the candidates who passed the bar examination is kept by the Provincial Secretariat, pursuant to Article 16 of the Rulebook on the Bar Examination ("Official Gazette of the RS", no. 14/98, 88/08 and 108/12) and with regard to Article 77 of the Law on Establishing the Competences of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina (“Official Gazette of the RS”, number 99/09, 67/2012 – Constitutional Court Ruling in the case of IUz 353/2009).
The records include all candidates who have passed the bar examination since 24 October 1954 organised by the competent authority of AP Vojvodina and they contain the full candidate’s name, place and date of birth, date of graduation and the faculty of law they graduated from, place of employment at the time of taking the exam and total score on the bar examination.
Apart from the certificate on the passed bar examination, the Provincial Secretariat also issues certificates for candidates domiciled in the territory of AP Vojvodina, who want to take the exam before the examining committees formed by the Minister of Justice. The said certificate proves the fact that the candidate has not taken the bar exam, organised by the Provincial Secretariat, in the last two years.
Certificates are issued upon the request which shall contain:
- full name,
- personal identification number,
- date of graduation and the faculty of law they graduated from,
- domicile,
- contact telephone number,
- month and year in which the examination was taken (only in case of the certificate on the passed examination).
Signed request may be sent by post or it may be submitted personally in the Records and Filing Office of the Provincial authorities.
In addition to the request, a candidate should also submit the proof of payment of the Republic administrative fee, in the amount of 760 RSD (pursuant to the tariff numbers 1 and 11 of the tariff of the Republic administrative fees in force) , to the account of the Budget of the Republic of Serbiia No. 840-742221843-57, MOD 97, reference No. 11-223.
